More about Bloom

Bloom Apartments are set to spring up in Carnegie, offering residents a life of luxury and convenience. Developer Conrock and architect Clarke Hopkins Clarke are the brains behind this unique design, which is sure to stand out on the streetscape and impress passersby.

Enjoy your very own bright piece of Kew

Mirroring the essence of its neighbourhood, Bloom offers a blend of contemporary style and elegance, with textures and tones taken from a broad range of palettes. Comprising 117 residences spread across six floors, the building’s facade is characterised by contrasting dark and light elements. Sandwiched between rows of bold ochre materials is the building’s middle section, which showcases vertical crisp lines, white obelisks, and large glass panes.

The customisable one, two, and three-bedroom residences reflect exceptional design skills and a meticulous attention to detail. Prepare to be wowed when you discover the secluded internal communal garden and lush courtyards -- you’ll want to make yourself at home immediately!

Specialist design to match the outdoor surroundings

Upon entering the apartments you’ll feel the warmth delivered by the generous open spaces, soaked in natural light from floor-to-ceiling windows. Continue to be amazed as you lay your eyes on the spacious private balconies and courtyards that spill out from the living areas, providing a perfect spot for outdoor entertaining or solitary introspection.

Pale timber flooring flows through dining areas, while a classic palette creates a sleek finish on which to layer your own styling and accentuation. Indulge in the elegant functionality of the kitchen, featuring high-end Bosch appliances and satin white joinery, along with striking light grey marble benchtops and splashbacks. The crowning feature is the central island bench with waterfall detail. With matte black tapware, recessed lighting, and an abundance of storage space, the kitchen will make you want to put your culinary skills to good use straight away!

Have a look at the sunset clause in your contract, your lawyer should be able to provide you with information regarding this. I wouldn't be surprised if a few people will be invoking this.

I purchased a Bloom apartment off the plans mid-2017, originally due to settle in September 2019. Three years later the building is still currently a frame. As a buyer, I have been disappointed by the lack of communication, unfortunately I have no understanding on why completion has been so delayed. Not sure if this is a common off the plan experience, or if I am just unlucky?

Hey there, thank you so much for your comment. We appreciate your honesty and your concern regarding this project.
Completion was expected by early this year, Marshall White's website stated that they were taking extra precaution due to Covid but nothing further than that. You are not alone in this, many others in the comments on this page have expressed similar concerns. We hope it is resolved for you all soon and keep us updated as it could help potential purchasers in making their decision on this project, or with this developer.

The build was supposed to be complete last year approx. Sept, (back in Feb 19) then a few months later it was changed to Christmas. Then October it changed to May this year. There has been no further updates since October and they only update you can get on Marshall White Construction portal: April, 2020.

As previously advised we have ceased involvement with the Bloom development , with the exception of updates on our construction portal.

We are still waiting an update from the developer and advise that you are welcome to visit the Project site and talk to the builders directly.

We have been advised that builders onsite are taking precautions to work under safe conditions regarding Covid, but work has not stopped.

Yes it is hard on the buyers, not one personally but I am friends with one. No information has addressed the change in completion date. The communication always came through Marshall White and was always positive as to be expected.

August 2019:
Bloom Glenhuntly is pleased to report that construction on site continue to progress well with the structure now taking form. Two basements, Ground, First & Second Floor are complete now and the team is working on to finish Level 3 &4 in this month. Plumbing, Electrical, Fire & Mechanical Services have started their works. Internal Finishing works started on Ground floor. Bloom’s completion date is currently anticipated for December 2019 with settlement at the property expected to follow shortly after.

October 2019:
The last few months on site have been extremely promising with the team gathering great momentum. With the structure erected, following trades are working feverishly to get there works completed. Waterproofing of the balconies are being completed this week, in time for the start of window installation. Electrical works continue on level 5 together with the Sprinkler system. As things come together the building is developing a fantastic feel to it. Leading up to Christmas we plan to see all trades ramping up with the Cabinet makers, flooring installers and fit out teams coming on board. Please note an exact settlement date is difficult to provide, however we are confident with an April/May 2020 completion.

Then radio silence and just the current information on the Marshall White construction portal. Also, the project manager has also changed from Sam Segman to Aaron Segman this year - which is only noticeable through checking update information.
