Shane Watson and Lee Furlong buy in Bellevue Hill
Former Test cricketer Shane Watson and his wife Lee have quietly bought in Bellevue Hill house for around $6,825,000.
The four-bedroom house was originally built in the 1930s.
It last traded four years ago for $3.08 million.
It has since undergone a substantial renovation by Shane Manning.
The Sydney Thunder captain and his wife, a former Fox Sports presenter, sold their designer Bronte home last year.
It went for $10.6 million to the Optus chairman Paul O’Sullivan.
Watson, ranked by Forbes as the highest-paid Australian cricketer of recent years, had purchased his Bronte home in 2014 for $9 million from funds manager Aaron Rowe and his wife Tracey McKinley.
They previously had upgraded from a Caringbah South waterfront home sold four years ago for $3,925,000.
