Melbourne house yields at a record low: CoreLogic RP Data

Capital city rental yields nationwide are lowest in Melbourne and highest in Darwin, according to CoreLogic RP Data, who found Melbourne rental yields at 3% and Darwin at 5.7%.

Unit yields are lowest in Melbourne (4.1%) and highest in Darwin and Brisbane at 5.5%.

Hobart and Canberra are the only two cities where house gross rental yields are steady.
