For a period of time it seemed that everyone was expecting the next interest rate movement from the RBA to be a hike.

However five experts surveyed by Finder.com.au have now changed their opinion, totalling eight experts expecting an increase.

The latest Finder.com.au Reserve Bank Survey has eight leading experts predicting a possible drop next year.

  1. Shane Oliver, AMP Capital

  2. Scott Pape, Barefoot Investor

  3. James Bond, Financial Services Council

  4. Noel Whittaker, QUT Business School

  5. Bill Evans, Westpac

  6. Andrew Wilson, Domain Group

  7. Stephen Koukoulas, Market Economics

  8. David Scutt, Scutt Partners

The first five on this list have only recently altered their opinion on what the RBA is likely to do in 2015.
