Around two thirds of Australians aren't in a truly competitive home loan, according to founder and director of ipac, Paul Clitheroe.

"Right now there are loans out there for a bout 4.55-4.6%. Most Australians are still  paying 5.2-5.3%," Clitheroe says.

"I just don't get it."
