Spring auction numbers higher than last year: CoreLogic RP Data

Auctions across the capital cities fell in the first week of spring yet were higher than the same week last year, according to CoreLogic RP Data's weekend market summary for the week ending 6 September.

CoreLogic RP Data found a preliminary clearance rate of 74.9% over the weekend, up from last week's result of 73.4% 

2,272 auctions were held in the first week of spring, (down from 2,654 the previous week), with auction numbers staying well above the same week a year ago when there were 1,897 auctions.
