Development information for Habitus South Melbourne
Experience expansive townhouse living with a difference at Habitus South Melbourne. Designed by DKO Architecture, Habitus presents three distinct townhome varieties, each with their own architectural personality. Developed by Beulah International and standing four storeys high, these 27 slender townhouses are one of the many vertical living configurations taking Melbourne by storm.
Crowning zigzag forms treated with bold brass, steel, and glass materials unite to create a robust elegant masonry base that delivers a signature streetscape presence. Integrating lush greenery with artful landscaping, Habitus South Melbourne introduces a space for residents to experience a warm sense of pride and a feeling of belonging.
The rooftop is the cherry on top with its outdoor area and vibrant greens. A haven for residents and their guests, the rooftop garden provides much-needed space and breathtaking views of the CBD skyline to calm the busiest of minds.
Each townhouse begins at ground level with a home-office and garage. The second level is dedicated to living space, while the remaining two floors include a bathroom, bedrooms, and more potential for living space. Chic staircases, threading up through the interior, form the backbone of every townhouse.
Natural light shines into every room, carefully diffused in the bathroom and kitchen by fluted glass panes for privacy. From tapware through to bench tops, the building’s accoutrements are an embodiment of its philosophy of blending luxury and practicality.
Suited to millenials who are becoming less interested in traditional houses with big yards, Habitus has been expertly designed to lift the mood, nurture the soul, and deliver the home you have always wanted.

Beulah is an Australian property developer based in Melbourne with international operations that have moved quickly from boutique developments to significant projects, in particular, a series of high profile developments in planning stages.
One of Beulah's most notable projects is a collaboration with Openwork Landscape Architects to create a series of ecological gardens. The Provenance Camberwell is a boutique collection of ten house-sized residences, situated in Camberwell. The development is segmented into three residential buildings, with Botanic apartments on level one.
Another of their high-profile projects in the pipeline is Southbank by Beulah situated at the current BMW Showroom, which will be transformed into a multi-use development. It introduces the 'vertical village' concept, which supports The City of Melbourne's 'Future Melbourne 2026' plan. The development will feature two twisting terraced forms called the 'Green Spine' concept, which won awards in the global architecture competition.
