Busy playing in Japan, Wallaby veteran Matt Giteau has listed his Cottesloe home in Perth.
Giteau, who now turns out for Tokyo based Suntory Sungoliath, paid $2,225,000 for the <a href="https://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-wa-cottesloe-128107654" target="_blank">2002 built home near the beach</a> in 2007 upon joining the Western Force.
The marketing suggests Giteau hasn't spent too much time at the home in recent years.
Marcus Sproule at Mack Hall says its the 'ultimate lock and leave home'.
The home has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and an open plan living, kitchen and dining area which opens to an outdoor deck.
Giteau all but confirmed his retirement last month, despite having not played for the Wallaby's since 2016.
Considered one of Australia's greatest ever rugby player, Giteau played 103 games for the Wallaby's over 14 years.

Elizabeth Gaines, now the chief of Andrew 'Twiggy' Forrest's Fortescue Metals, and husband Kevin Manuel, have traded up in Perth, while staying in Cottesloe.
Having sold their luxury apartment for $3.35 million a few months ago, they've spent around $5.75 million on a nearby new home.
The five bedroom home with office, gym and lift was built in 2016. 
The now sold apartment (above) cost the couple $3.57 million in 2016 when they bought it from the Hughes car dealership family, shortly after Gaines was made CFO at the company.
The three level Cottesloe apartment was in a block of just four designed by the architect Blane Brackenridge. 
It became their WA base after they sold on Sydney northern beaches for $5.2 million early last year.
They resided there in the former home of model and Myer ambassador Jennifer Hawkins and builder husband Jake Wall at North Curl Curl.
Sydney's glamorous property developer couple sold their 2010 built home to Gaines for $4.1 million in 2014, in the Windy Dropdown gated community, having bought the building block for $1,375,000 in 2009.

Cottesloe ocean view home, The Anchorage, for sale

A Cottesloe home sold twice this year in Perth, perhaps the only property to head upwards in price too.
The <a href="https://www.realestate.com.au/property/13-pearse-st-cottesloe-wa-6011" target="_blank">13 Pearse Street</a> holding sold for $7.05 million in June, then again for $7.55 million last month.
The latest buyer was a company co-directed by mining magnate Kerry Harmanis, which owns three neighbouring properties on the street.
The windfall came to Colin Herdman who had bought the property from the Kidd family in June.
It faces onto Avonmore Terrace.

Harmanis founded the nickel miner Jubilee Mines in 1987. It was acquired by mining giant Xstrata in 2007 for $3.1 billion.

Kerry Harmanis secures Cottesloe house that sold twice in 2016

Former Hawks captain Sam Mitchell and wife Lyndall have moved quickly to secure a property in Perth after the midfielder's trade to the West Coast Eagles.
They've paid $2.15 million for a 2007 home in Cottesloe, just $50,000 more than it <a href="https://www.realestate.com.au/sold/property-house-wa-cottesloe-113276231" target="_blank">sold for in 2013</a>, highlighting even further Perth's continued property market weakness.
The four bedroom, three bathroom home on 491 sqm features two living spaces, a family room and a parents retreat with private balcony.
A swimming pool and an alfresco dining area are set in low-maintenance gardens.
The Mitchell's have not written off Hawthorn completely however. They've only leased their four bedroom family home in Melbourne's inner east.
A tenant quickly snapped up the property for $1,800 a week late last year.
They bought the 1940s home for $1.82 million in 2009 and have since restored the home.
The family home set in 841 square metres of lush gardens has a home office and a gas heated swimming pool. It was once a feature on Better Homes and Gardens.
Mitchell looks set to see out his playing career in Perth with assistant coaching set to follow.

Former Hawks captain Sam Mitchell buys in Cottesloe

The Sarich family are having another shot at selling their contemporary Cottesloe home, this time for an even more realistic $5.2 million asking price.
It had been bought for $7.65 million in 2007, then listed with $6.5 million hopes just two years later.
They tried again in 2014, with hopes that a buyer would come forward for the Grant Street property with a further reduction to $5.5 million.

Elizabeth Gaines secures $3.57 million Cottesloe apartment

Aussie cricketer Adam Voges, who recently retired from the international game, is looking to sell his Perth investment.
Voges and wife Kristy paid $1.07 million for a four bedroom Attadale home last August, where they are rebuilding.
The asking price for the Cottesloe apartment has eased from $799,000 to $749,000 over recent weeks.
The veteran batsman paid $700,000 for the three bedroom apartment in 2009 when he was playing English county cricket for Nottinghamshire.
A $500 a week rental has been suggested as likely. 
Perth Property Partners City Beach agent Rob Walker has the listing.
Voges and wife Kristy paid $1.07 million for a four bedroom Attadale home last August.
Voges has represented Australia in all forms of the game, but it wasn't until 35 years of age that he would represent Australia in a Test match.
He scored a century on his debut and went on to feature for the Test team 20 times.
Voges ended his career with a Test average of 61.87, the best average since the legendary Don Bradman.
A month after announcing his retirement from international cricket, Voges retired from domestic state cricket where he captained Western Australia.
He will continue to play for Middlesex in England.
Voges hasn't ruled out playing in the Big Bash over the Christmas period. He currently captains the Perth Scorchers who have won the competition in two of the last three years.
