Australian cricketer Mitchell Marsh has joined his brother Shaun in upgrading in Perth.

Mitchell has paid $2.75 million for a 1990s built home in Cottesloe, the beachside suburb north-west of the Perth CBD.

The heavily traded home, which only went up $50,000 from its 2012 sale, has four bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Its downstairs living areas open to the outdoors through large sliding doors.

Space Real Estate agent Justin Davies sold the home in just 16 days when asking for offers in the high $2 millions.

Mitchell, who has just undergone surgery on his groin, recently sold his former Bicton home for $2.38 million.
