A striking home in Perth's Wembley has been sold for $2.27 million.

The four bedroom, four bathroom property designed by architects Klopper & Davis with dramatic angled roofline exudes 1970s style with a contemporary twist.

Estate agent Craig Gaspar, from Caporn Young Estate Agents Claremont secured the sale of 24 St Vincents Avenue.

The median house price for the Perth suburb is $1.02 million.

There are ultra-modern fixtures that contrast with vintage light fittings.

With full-length timber-framed glass doors to make the most of natural light, it was designed it to look like a renovation using texture, materials, face bricks, timber platting and press tin.

The St Vincent’s Avenue home began with the design being approved in 2012 and the project was completed in late 2015 on its 390 square metre block.
