Warracknabeal ranks as the cheapest Victoria locality to purchase a house, according to a recent Investar report.
The property investment firm says that the median price for three bedroom houses in Warracknabeal, famous as the hometown of musician Nick Cave, is $130,500.
This is followed by Dimboola with $132,000 and Ouyen with $132,500.
