GURNERTM has unveiled the next project to sit under its Boutique portfolio, the $40m Cambridge Place collection in Collingwood.

Cambridge Place will deliver six apartments, described as "mansion apartment living", with the design by longtime Gurner collaborator Warren and Mahoney inspired by Milan's world-renowned architecture hotels.

Residents of the half or whole-floor apartments will be welcomed home by a grand secure entrance, reminiscent of the most opulent residences of Milan, with characteristic mosaic tiling, a custom chandelier and sweeping curved staircase.

Cambridge Place interiors have been optimised so the residences open onto enlarged landscaped terraces, while the penthouse apartment features a wrap-around garden terrace with a verdant oasis, curated to offer a hidden sanctuary of green tranquillity.

The upper floor at Cambridge Place will be one of Melbourne's finest penthouses.

This two-story penthouse with a near 250 sqm terrace garden includes a wellness room, sculptural internal staircase and a private lift, as well as an expansive master suite with a dressing room and ensuite, opening to the outdoor.

GURNERTM's Boutique collection will offer access to GURNERTM’s own in-house design director Simon Brugaletta, who brings nearly two decades of experience to the team. Brugaletta has worked for practices all over the world including Milan, Malta and Hangzhou, China.

It was Simon’s decade of living and working in Milan that underpinned his adoration of the sophistication, style and craftsmanship of Milan’s world-famous Palazzo Parigi hotel – meaning that when Tim Gurner came asking for a hotel recommendation, Brugaletta knew just where to send him.

Residents of Cambridge Place will also enjoy exclusive access to the nearby members-only Saint Haven private club, where memberships are not only sold out but oversubscribed. As part of Gurner Group's exclusive club, members can indulge in the latest science-backed wellness, anti-aging, and holistic treatments, further enhancing the lifestyle offered by Cambridge Place.

Prices at Cambridge Place will range between $3.15 million and $10.75 million. Apartments start from 210 sqm.

Brugaletta said Cambridge Place has been designed to be timeless and sophisticated, with architecture that will complement the surrounding area as it stands today, and the Cambridge Street that will evolve over the decades.

“I lived and worked in Milan for almost a decade, so when Tim came to me and asked for a hotel recommendation for his trip I knew that he would fall in love with the style and elegance of the Palazzo Parigi – which is one of my favourite places in the city," Brugaletta said.

“From its grand entrance, custom chandelier and spiral staircase right through to its Italian stone, marble-wrapped spaces and exquisite joinery, every detail at Cambridge Place has been carefully considered to deliver the timeless elegance of Europe’s most beautiful cities."

Tim Gurner says when he visited Milan, the Palazzo Parigi sparked incredible inspiration.

"I am really looking forward to bringing some of its grand features and old-world-charm to Cambridge Street," Gurner said.

“Our clients love the Collingwood lifestyle, they love the walkability to Melbourne’s best restaurants and gardens, but want the opulence and grandeur of a grand eastern-suburbs home. We have crafted Cambridge Place to create the best of both worlds."
