Robert Gerard lists Bakers Gully vineyard in McLaren Vale

Adelaide businessman Robert Gerard has listed the 47-hectare Bakers Gully vineyardhis McLaren Vale winery.

It is planted with 29.5 hectares of mainly shiraz and cabernet sauvignon grapes, which are supplied to Gerard's winemaker Tapestry Wines.

With vines dating backing to the 1960s, Bakers Gully vineyard comes with a stone residents’ cottage, shed and wine-storage facilities. It has a 50-megalitre dam with an annual 35-megalitre water allocation,

It is being marketed by Tim Altschwager and Nick Dean of Colliers International with expectations around $2 million.

Robert Gerard acquired the 49 Chapel Hill Road property in the late 1990s.

It is situated between Blewitt Springs and Kangarilla, 183 metres above sea level with loam to sandy soil profile.
