Colonel Light Gardens tops list of 2017 Adelaide house hotspots

House prices in Colonel Light Gardens are tipped to increase by 14% in the next 12 months, with the suburb taking equal top spot in Adelaide's 2016/2017 house hotspots forecast developed by APM senior economist, Dr Andrew Wilson.

The median price at Colonel Light Gardens currently sits at $740,000, according to APM.

Several recent sales point to upward price movements in the suburb. An example would be a four bedroom house currently on sale for $790,000 at 46 Salisbury Crescent, (above) which is $50,000 above the median price.

Similarly a four bedroom house at 8 Rozells Avenue (above) was sold for $800,000  $60,000 above the median price.

The Smart Investor magazine, published by Fairfax Media, also consider Henley Beach, Linden Park, Erindale, Hazelwood Park, St Peter and Heatherfield as their strongest hotspots.
