Rotha on Broadway, Camberwell home sells at $4.02 million

Rotha, a 1910 home at Camberwell was among the handful across Melbourne that sold for more than $4 million at weekend auction. 

The Camberwell home sold at weekend auction for more than $700,000 over reserve. It was last sold in the 1920s.

Three bidders competed for the four bedroom home on 1070 sq m after the Jellis Craig auctioneer Richard Earle kicked the auction off with a $2.8 million vendor bid. 

The house at 95 Broadway with Art Nouveau leadlight entry was announced on the market at $3.3 million.

It sold for $4,020,000.
