Restaurant entrepreneur John Szangolies buys in Palm Beach

Restaurant entrepreneur John Szangolies and wife Heather have continued their Sydney property spree, this time spending $9.2 million in Palm Beach.

They have recently settled on the five bedroom, four bathroom Iluka Road waterfront.

Szangolies spent $16.2 million on Tivoli Villa, the former Rose Bay trophy home of "Melbourne Mick" Bartley in August last year.

The German born form nightclub owner is the founder and CEO of the Urban Purveyor Group, the largest restaurant group in Australia.

They own more than 26 award-winning and critically acclaimed dining and entertainment venues, including the Bavarian Bier Café chain and Fratelli Fresh.
