A Chinese national has purchased the Oracle, Broadbeach penthouse on the Gold Coast.

The $8 million was reported by the Australian Financial Review as at least 20% off its boom-time prices.

The Oracle development has been controlled by receivers Korda Mentha who refurbished levels 50 and 51.

The 1117 square metre penthouse comprises four bedrooms, a media room, a study, a private rooftop pool, spa and steam room.

There was a marketing campaign by KM Sales and Marketing.

Herron Todd White's Luke Nichols said the sale of the penthouse showed improving values.
