Kew trophy home sold at $4.5 million

A prestigious property in Kew sold recently for $4.5 million.
 
The 1285 square metre property at 16 Swinton Avenue was sold at auction on May 28 by Jellis Craig Hawthorn agent Campbell Ward for $4,501,000.
 
Before auction the property was marketed as “Studley Park prestige with CBD vistas”.
 
Built in the 1970s, the four-bedroom property has since undergone subsequent contemporary updates.
 
The median price for a house in Kew is $2 million according to CoreLogic.
