Contemporary artistic couple Marc and Gillie Schattner have secured a quick flip on their Bellevue Hill home.

They paid $3.9 million for the three level home just 11 months ago. It sold short of its initial $6.5 million price guidance, but higher than its $5.69 million rejected offer.

The recently refurbished Mediteranean-style family home on 956 sqm on Suttie Road has five bedrooms.

Gillie and Marc are famous for their contemporary art which is scattered through the home.

They often enter work into Sculptures by the Sea with 'Shandu the buried Rhino' a popular choice for onlookers this year.
