Brand director James Watts lists Paddington apartment with treechange plans

Brand director James Watts is seeking a treechange and has listed his Paddington apartment for August 11 auction.

Watts, who has worked as an art director for Mission Impossible II, is seeking $1.25 million for the unit he has renovated after paying $825,000 in 2013.

Watts said he added a contemporary aesthetic keeping the authenticity of the Art Deco heritage.

The garden courtyard apartment with two bedrooms and a study sits in the rear of a 1930s boutique block on five.

Belle Property Surry Hills agents Mark Foy and Ted Pye have the listing with $1.25 million hopes.

Watts has worked on Heartbreak High starring Alex Dimitriades and Love My Way with Claudia Karvan. 

The brand director of rug company Armadillo & Co plans to move the the Southern Highlands.

He says he's on the hunt for a classic Australian property to renovate with a garden or some land to landscape.
