Aussie John Symond has secured around $13.3 million for his Point Piper penthouse, and likely to be closer to $13.5 million

The sale by Bill Malouf, of LJ Hooker Double Bay was secured on Monday morning.

The two-storey penthouse is in a block of four apartments near his unsold Point Piper mansion which has now been withdrawn from sale despite securing $100 million plus buyer interest.

There have been renovations at the Point Piper penthouse since Symond bought the apartment in 2010 for $8.16 million from jailed fraudster Nati Stoliar.
