The Matrix star Matt Doran and his wife, textile designer Teri McPhillips, have listed in Paddington following the birth of their first child.

They are seeking $1 million on Glenmore Road for their renovated art deco 69 sqm one bedroom apartment.

The first level unit cost $565,000 in 2012 at the rear of the block of 12. It goes to February 24 auction. Doran's next movie is Trafficked starring Ashley Judd. His big break was as Mouse in The Matrix and Elan Sleazebaggano in Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones.

Doran landed a lead role in the film, Pirates' Island, after he graduated from acting for at the Australian Film and TV Academy in the early 1990s.

The Paddington one-bedder listing comes amid plans by the new parents to up-grade to “something with a backyard, preferably in the east,” according to McPhillips.
