A warehouse conversion located close to Chapel Street at 51 James Street, Prahran sold post-auction for $2.1 million.

Biggin & Scott auctioneer Tom McCarthy began proceedings by reminding all of the limited choice of warehouse conversions in the location.

The opening bid of $1,800,000 was taken up to $2 million with three bidders.

The property was bought after the auction from David Miller who paid $910,000 in 2006.

There was potential for a roof garden.
