The property data and analytics company, CoreLogic, has recruited Lisa Claes to be its next managing director for Australia and New Zealand.

Ms Claes is currently ING Direct's executive director for customer delivery.

She will start in August, taking over from Graham Mirabito, who is set to become the US-based group's international chief executive.

Graham Mirabito said Ms Claes had 20 years experience in the mortgage, financial services and insurance industries, which well fitted the CoreLogic business.

"ING Direct has been a leader in analytics," he said. "Lisa will bring a lot of capability to improve efficiency, engagement, and the on-line experience," he told The Australian Financial Review.

In his years at the helm since October 2005, the Australian staff has grown from 75 to around 700 and its name changed from RP Data to CoreLogic RP Data to now just CoreLogic.

The local operation is now a fully owned subsidiary of the US-listed, $4.6 billion, CoreLogic Inc, with much of the international expansion into China and Japan driven from Australia.

Mirabito told Fairfax Media much of his international focus would be on Europe.

RP Data adopted the sole name of its parent company, CoreLogic late last year.
