The Vaucluse home of Amelia Maribondo-Aspden, better know as the woman who brought the Havianas thong to Australia, has been sold.

The four bedroom Old South Head property had only been on the market for 20 days when sold through D'Leanne Lewis of Laing + Simmons Double Bay.

The upper level of the Vaucluse home offers harbour views towards Manly.

The swimming pool and alfresco dining area are surrounded by gardens at the 835 sqm property bought for $2.725 million in 2007.

She's bought in Double Bay for $4.97 million.

The Brazilian-born businesswoman has bought in Double Bay for $4.97 million.
