Fresh listings nationally up 4.1% year on year: CoreLogic RP Data

The number of fresh listings nationally went up by 4.1% when compared to the same period last year, according to CoreLogic RP Data.

According to the CoreLogic RP Data Property Pulse for the week ending 6 September, new properties on the market hit 42,609 over the past month driven by capital cities demand where listings were higher 4.9% than the same time last year.

The largest new listing increases was in Sydney with 18.1%, Canberra 18.5% and Melbourne 9.7%. Compared to last year new listings in Adelaide fell 3.9%, Perth down 17.5%, Hobart down 12.7% and Darwin falling 23.7%.
