Thank you for your recent Escala NewQuay enquiry.

Confirming there are FHOG and Stamp duty savings available providing you meet the qualification criteria.
Once you decide to purchase as a first time owner occupier providing the property is $750,000 or less, you can apply for the $10,000 First Home Owner Grant (FHOG) noting:

• Must occupy the home as their principal place of reside (PPR) for at least 12 months
• Be aged 18 or over (discretionary)
• Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident

MAB Corporation appointed L.U. Simon Builders as their construction partner on Escala mid December 2019. Early site works commenced this week with completion estimated for late 2021.

First established in 1955, L.U. Simon Builders have experience across a range of projects including medium and high-rise residential, commercial and retail. During their 64 year history, they have developed a reputation as a strong, well-renowned builder and have previously worked with MAB at NewQuay on The Mariner and Quay Park Townhouses.

L.U. Simon Builders have extensive experience across award-winning projects such as The Garden House, Eden Stage 1 and Assembly.

I am hoping to find out what sort of deposit is required on the Escala apartments. I am presuming that you require a deposit to secure and then once the building is complete, we would then pay the remainder. Could you indicate the figures/ percentages involved. Thanks for your help, We are in Sydney and are looking at Escala with the view of purchasing, then renting it out for a while until we moved to Melbourne.
