A private investor has paid $1.83 million at auction for a childcare centre in the Melbourne suburb of Thornbury.

The site, 200 Smith Street, was sold fully-leased on a ten year term at a current annual rental of $71,461.

Savills’ Julian Heatheric said the 1190 square metre landholding with CBD views has a prized inner-northern suburban location and also offered significant future development potential.
