Sydney house prices have accelerated to be up by 20.36% over the past year to June 2015, according to Residex.
 
Sydney house prices jumped by 6.94% for the past quarter alone.
 
Rents for houses in Sydney also boomed over past year on this index, up 12.4% to $680/week. 
 
Sydney unit prices were up 15.44%, with rents up 6.67% to $560/week.
 
Not too much doing elsewhere, with prices down marginally for the quarter in Adelaide, and declining moderately over the past year in Perth and Darwin.
