The Canberra office that was purpose built by the Australian Property Institute some three decades ago has been listed for sale for the first time.

The property at 6 Campion Street in Deakin, an inner suburb of Canberra, has been held by the Australian Property Institute (API), since its construction over three decades ago.

The API are located on the second level which comprises a number of internal offices, breakout areas, a kitchen, reception space and a boardroom.

The ground floor has a double height entrance lobby with full glass facade.

The Commonwealth Government previously had a whole floor tenancy in the space which has its own north-facing garden and landscaped courtyard.

Savills agents Nic Purdue and Andrew Stewart have the listing.

It has 525 sqm of net lettable area.
