Walker Corporation’s Senibong Cove wins FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards 2016

Senibong Cove, Walker Corporation’s Malaysian master planned community, has been announced as “World Silver Winner” at the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards, 2016 Master Plan Category.

Lang Walker, Chairman of Walker Corporation said this was their third FIABCI award after securing two categories at the FIABCI Malaysia Property Awards 2015.

FIABCI Prix d'Excellence Awards recognise projects that best exemplify excellence in all the real estate disciplines, illustrating the FIABCI ideal of 'providing society with the optimal solution to meet property needs'.

The FIABCI Prix d'Excellence Awards were established to recognise and reward overall merit of projects, with judging panel made up of top real estate professionals and experts. 

Longtime employee Don Carvalho accepted the award.

The win was attributed to various factors, including the preservation and integration of the surrounding natural habitat to deliver families a unique design, incorporating boardwalks, natural rivers, lush greenery and immaculately landscaped parks.

Describing the award winning Senibong Cove, Mr Walker said the recognition of Senibong Cove is due to a variety of carefully planned features throughout, coupled with a sustainable approach to development.
