10 year home price forecast for Sydney: Pete Wargent

According to the just-launched CoreLogic-Moody’s Analytics Australian Forecast Home Value Index, home values are forecast to continue rising solidly in Sydney and Melbourne over the next decade.
It sees annual price growth of more than +5 per cent returning for Perth by 2017, but subdued growth for Adelaide over the next two years, while Darwin prices are expected to decline in 2016.
Of the capital cities, Brisbane is forecast to fare best over the next two years with home value growth of around +12 per cent.
