$400 million to kickstart new housing supply: NSW state budget

In handing down the recent state budget the NSW state government announced it will inject 'windfall tax revenue' into the Housing Acceleration Fund to counteract the challenge of housing affordability.

$400 million has been earmarked for Restart NSW to drive new housing supply. 

The state budget included a total of $641 million for social and affordable housing projects.
