Valentines day parody pokes fun at mortgage lenders

A property pun on Ashley Maddison shows you just how much you could save on your mortgage.

Launched just in time for Valentine's Day, the website Bankley Madison, pokes fun at banks and mortgage lenders who openly provide better rates and deals to the new customers, in effect cheating on their existing ones.

Opening with "It's not a marriage, it's a mortgage, so have some fun", the website shows banking profiles with some subtle hints at a few recent banking news stories.

The creator, finance specialist Jayden Vecchio, said he is poking a bit of fun at the 'cheating backs' who give bigger and better discounts to new customers, leaving the old ones.

"The intention is to show how to get back at these cheating banks who offer better rates and deals to new customers, leaving existing customers paying more," he said.
