Westpac's chief economist Bill Evans has discussed what the RBA might be thinking in regards to considering further monetary stimulus.

Evans said there hasn't really been too much to talk about in terms of policy changes since the RBA made their major policy announcement back in March.

That was until last week when RBA governor Philip Lowe spoke about considering how further monetary measures may be able to support the economy.

The new revelations came as the RBA increased the term funding facility for banks by $57 billion.

Below in a video update, Evans discusses what further stimulus the RBA may be discussing.
