Mortgage broker, N1 Finance & Lease, has launched Australia's first Mandarin-language mortgage comparison website, chengdai.com.au.

The website, written by N1 Finance brokers, offers home loans from more than 30 lenders.

N1Finance's Sydney based managing director, Ren Wong said the website would initially target the estimated one million local Chinese in Australia.

"Initially the website is likely to attract 400 unique visitors per month but is expected to grow quickly with approximately one million people from a Chinese heritage residing in Australia," he said.

The website cannot be accessed in China.

Global property website Juwai.com suggest around 40% of foreign Chinese buyers borrow when buying offshore property.
