The full ABS Residential Property Price Indexes (Eight Capital Cities) since its inception in 2003.

Price gains by capital city since 2003 included gains of 157% in Darwin, 120% in Melbourne, 119% in Perth, 87% in Sydney, 85% in Hobart, 82% in Brisbane, 85% in Adelaide, and 66% in Canberra.

The average capital city house increased in price by 164% since 2002.

The attached dwellings series doesn't run back that far, but also recorded large gains from its inception.
