10 terrace properties in Millers Point sold

Property NSW, on behalf of Family and Community Services, has announced the sale of a further 10 terrace properties in Millers Point, delivering $33.805 million for new social housing.

Conservation Management Plans (CMPs) endorsed by the NSW Heritage Council are included in contracts for sale for all heritage listed properties in Millers Point. These contracts ensure new property owners are fully informed of their responsibilities when purchasing a heritage listed property.

The following terraces sold yesterday:

75 Kent Street (six bedrooms) sold for $3.775 million

81 Kent Street (six bedrooms) sold for $3.32 million

123 Kent Street (four bedrooms) sold for $2.5 million

7 Dalgety Terrace (six bedrooms) sold for $5.725 million (below)

 

9 Dalgety Terrace (three bedrooms) sold for $4.175 million 

5 Lower Fort Street (five bedrooms) sold for $4.675 million

20 Merriman Street (three bedrooms) sold for $3.7 million

22 Merriman Street (one bedroom) sold for $2.21 million

19 Windmill Street (three bedrooms) sold for $1.91 million (below)

27 Windmill Street (three bedrooms) sold for $1.815 million

The auction of these 10 properties starts the wind down of this phase of the individual terrace sales program, with only a handful of vacant terraces remaining.

To date a total of 90 Millers Point properties have been sold, delivering almost $252 million for reinvestment into social housing.

During the coming months a different mix of 175 dwellings will come to market, including a diverse assortment of lofts and apartments, blocks of units and other residences to be offered by McGrath Estate Agents.

Proceeds from the sale of Millers Point properties will fund 1,500 new social housing dwellings across the State, with 590 new fit-for-purpose social housing dwellings funded to date.
