More than 2,000 auctions get green light: CoreLogic RP Data

Some 2,167 capital city auctions are slated for the week ending August 16 according to CoreLogic RP Data - a slight fall from last week's 2,512 auctions.
The final combined city auction clearance rate for last week was 76.9%.
916 homes are slated for auction in Melbourne, a fall from last week's 1,085.
For the third week in a row the number of Sydney auctions are higher than Melbourne, with 952 set for this week. 578 auctions were held in Sydney this time last year.
129 auctions are set for Brisbane, Canberra 48, Tasmania 6, Adelaide 85 and Perth 31.
