Set to bring 419 apartments to market, Sovereign Square, at 545 Station Street, Box Hill is expected to be Box Hill's tallest residential building on completion.

Spanning 34 storeys tall, Sovereign Square is being developed by AXF Property.

It will include 2,677 square metres of podium commercial restaurant space, 715 square metres of ground floor food premises and 2,263 square metres of serviced office space.

Anita Bell, an interior designer from Buchan Architects, is behind the design, which looks to incorporate the five Feng Shui concepts in an “East meets West” style.

The development will include a rooftop garden, with a yoga area, while level six will include a wellbeing retreat with a swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room.

A residents lounge, catering facilities, dining lounge, library and outdoor barbeque will also be included.

Harvey Male, principal of Buchan Architects, said that the development will make a visible impact.

“We have designed Sovereign Square to ensure a diverse mixed-use of facilities to encourage a connected sense of living to support a new vision for the community,” said Male.

It is expected to be completed in 2017.
