The international celebrity chef Bill Granger and his wife Natalie Elliott bought back at Tamarama paying $4.8 million after selling their hillside 1920s Bronte Californian bungalow for $3.4 million.
Granger's recent four bedroom purchase is opposite Mackenzies Beach overlooking the coastal walk sold through Pauline Goodyer at Goodyer Real Estate who marketed it as offering "the quintessential beach-side lifestyle."

Bronte's so called Wave House, the Walter Barda designed beach house completed in early 2014, stands as the year's highest sale fetching $15.65 million through D’Leanne Lewis of Laing &amp; Simmons when bought by Heather Doig, wife of former Pacific Equity Partners managing director Rob Koczkar who've upgraded from Waverley.
James Kennard, from the Kennards Self Storage family, sold his 1890s Glebe mansion to buy in Bronte.
Hartford, a magnificent Queen Ann manor fetched $4,228,000, with Kennard making a $5,325,000 purchase on Yanko Avenue, Bronte of a contemporary beachhouse designed by Smyth and Smyth sold through Jason Pantzer of Phillips Pantzer Donnelly.
