The towers, Magnolia, Anaca and Ginko, place&nbsp;residents square at the centre of the busy suburb.

The biophilic buildings have been designed&nbsp;around a central park, home to the trees that stand for the building&rsquo;s namesake.

Piper Townhomes is a boutique collection of 14 modern, low-maintenance townhouses in the bayside suburb of Williamstown.&nbsp;

It is just one part of AVJennings vision for Waterline Place which they described as &ldquo;a village within a village&rdquo;. It will be home to around 500 residences across 14 unique developments, weaved among a sea of biophilic, pedestrian-friendly, streets and laneways.&nbsp;

Piper comprises nine three-bedroom homes facing Nelson Place, starting from an extension of the neighbouring Lonsdale and Lysander townhomes, continuing the bluestone and angled roofline theme that mimics traditional local cottages and industrial buildings of the past, to blend in with the established architectural character of the area.

As well as five two-bedroom, two-bathroom terraces fronting Waterline Place, that have already sold out.

Situated within Hobson Bay the area offers cafes, restaurants, supermarket, shops, swimming beaches and renowned boating clubs.

The luxury property developer Beulah recently began construction on one of its newest apartment developments, Provenance Camberwell.

Consisting of just 12 apartments in total, including two penthouses, the boutique block at 890 Toorak Road has been designed by Elenberg Fraser.

Prices start from $1.25 million for the two bedroom apartments, with the four bedroom penthouses priced at $3.995 million.

Beulah have appointed the family-ran and owned lurada Property Group to handle the construction and so far the building has proven popular with local owner-occupiers, Beulah managing director Jiaheng Chan said.

Provenance Camberwell marks Beulah&rsquo;s seventh project to have commenced construction within recent years.

<h2>20 Mary Avenue, Broadbeach</h2>

Developer Little Projects Co recently&nbsp;unveiled plans for a boutique residential apartment project located at 20 Mary Avenue, Broadbeach.

Demonstrating their prowess outside of Victoria, 20 Mary Avenue will showcase an exclusive collection of just 29, full floor and double storey apartments designed in partnership with Elenberg Fraser.

Each floor will house a 3-bedroom residence, with an elegant&nbsp;aesthetic, designed&nbsp;for the owner-occupier market.

20 Mary Avenue, Broadbeach will springboard off the back of Little Project&rsquo;s Gold Coast debut project, Signature Broadbeach, which sold out its 245 apartments located just around the corner from the proposed 20 Mary Avenue, Broadbeach.

According to the developer, panoramic ocean views can be witnessed from podium to penthouse, with never to be built out vistas as a result of the development&rsquo;s positioning behind Broadbeach State School.

Architecture firm Elenberg Fraser’s top projects on Urban

Investors and first home buyers have both been attracted to Spring St, the newest mixed-use development slated for Box Hill.

The low price point in the project, the first in Box Hill designed by the renowned architecture firm Elenberg Fraser, has both investors and first home buyers on alert, with the latter given the opportunity to get on the ladder in an apartment tower at the centre of everything.

Prices start from a low $395,000 for one-bedroom apartments and $545,000 for two-bedroom apartments, both well below Melbourne&#39;s median of $610,000, calculated by CoreLogic.

That median value has soared over 2021, having started the year at $576,000. Growth so far in the calendar year has been around 5.6 per cent.

There&#39;s predicted to be continued growth in Melbourne&rsquo;s apartment market, due to its current under-supply in apartments and the return of overseas migration, with both overseas renters and investors playing a major role in driving growth.

Spring St isn&#39;t due for completion until 2024, which gives buyers the opportunity to see the capital gains before the apartment is even finished.

So far the location of Spring St, on the corner of Spring and Nelson Street, has been one of the most attractive aspects for prospective buyers.

The generously sized apartments start from 52 sqm for the one-bedroom apartments, with a further eight sqm of balconies. The average size of one-bedroom apartments in Melbourne is sub-50 sqm.

Spring St&rsquo;s apartments will feature stone bench tops in the kitchen, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows in the living area to maximise the views high above Box Hill Gardens, to the Melbourne CBD, and as far as Mount Dandenong.

The tower will occupy the 1,741 sqm 111 A’Beckett Street site in Melbourne’s CBD and will see the existing heritage building integrated within the new development. In keeping with the original heritage, the Elenberg Fraser-designed building elegantly ties in elements of streamlined moderne, with soft, rounded features and elongated lines. Probuild appointed to construct SP Setia’s UNO Melbourne tower

The development is segmented into three residential offerings, with Botanic apartments on level one, Epicure apartments across the middle floor, and Domain apartments on the upper level.

Aurora’s developers UEM Sunrise and Australian Tier 1 contractor Probuild invited industry representatives and those involved in the significant project to celebrate with a topping out ceremony yesterday afternoon. Urban.com.au was on hand for the event which took place at Aurora's summit.

Aurora Melbourne Central’s construction timeline has been able to facilitate a staggered opening schedule where residents will be able to move into the completed levels while construction safely continues above.

Reaching new heights: Melbourne’s new tallest building ‘Aurora’ tops out

A collaboration of Melbourne architects <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/architects/fraser-partners-0">Elenberg Fraser</a> (<a href="https://www.urban.com.au/buildings/albert-place-7-bowen-crescent-south-melbourne">Albert Place</a>, <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/buildings/premier-tower-134-160-spencer-street-melbourne">Premier Tower</a>) and <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/architects/craig-tan-architects">Craig Tan Architects</a> (Hawker Hall, Chin Chin) is overseeing the design of two new hotel towers set to open in Melbourne’s CBD by 2022.

Ormond Melbourne and Momo’s Melbourne will be located across two tapering towers of 30 and 24-storeys respectively, and will feature an events centre of just over 12,000sqm as well as food and beverage offerings within a shared podium. The project has been brought to fruition by South-East Asian hospitality brand the Ormond Group, who is best known for its Tune Hotels brand and is currently undertaking a multi-million-dollar refurbishment of <a href="https://www.irishtimes.com/business/transport-and-tourism/ormond-hotel-s-25m-redevelopment-to-finish-in-2020-1.3624157">The Ormond Hotel</a> (to be completed 2020).

The two properties will contain a total of 537 guest suites and will be linked by a purpose-built pedestrian laneway and will feature a sky bar, restaurant and multi-use spaces.  

The project will be managed by Point Polaris, and construction will take place on a site spanning 540 Flinders Street and 539 – 545 Flinders Lane, Melbourne.

Ormond Group to launch two new hotel concepts in central Melbourne by 2022

The latest apartment building within Williamstown's Waterline Place development has reached structural completion.

Gem is a 10 storey Elenebrg Fraser-designed complex which has been entrusted to head contractor Buildcorp Commercial. Architect, builder and developer AV Jennings' personnel marked the occasion earlier this week with a ceremonial ribbon cutting.

The <a href="/buildings/gem-25-windsor-terrace-williamstown">undulating building</a> form now fronts Kanowna Street and enjoys unfettered view of Port Phillip Bay and Melbourne's CBD.

AV Jennings' Victorian General Manager Angus Johnson noted Waterline Place's overall importance to both the developer and wider Williamstown community. Heavily vested in house and land projects, Waterline Place marks the developer's first foray into the Melbourne apartment market.

As internal fitouts progress on Gem, AV Jennings will turn its eye toward the next stages of development which constitute Waterline Place's $450 million end value.

Overall the development is earmarked for 510 dwellings; a mix of 100 townhouses and 410 apartments. Gem and the completed Rosny apartment building amount to 175 of the total 410 apartments.

Elenberg Fraser has also designed an eight storey, 62 apartment building at 3-39 Nelson Place, although that building has yet to come to fruition as part of the overall development.

Waterline Place in its entirety has a nominal completion date of 2022.
