Offered for the first time in over 70 years, a bungalow in Sydney’s lower North Shore sold at its weekend auction for $1.415 million.

Located on Wheatleigh Street, Naremburn, the deceased estate had been listed with a $1.1 million-plus price guide by Lea Turner of Morton & Morton Real Estate.

Comprising four bedrooms and one-bathroom, the residence has been well maintained and features an original kitchen.

Situated on a 574-square-metre block, the property benefits from natural northern light and has the potential for a complete refurbishment.

More than 60 groups came through the property’s first open, with eight taking away a contract.

The median house price in Naremburn is $1.2 million, according to RP Data.
