Woollahra's Icilus sold to Laser Clinics Richlister
The buyer of the Woollahra trophy residence Icilus that sold last week for $13 million has been pinpointed as young Rich Lister Alistair Champion and his wife Kate MacIvor.
The Bellevue Hill couple secured the Victorian Italianate residence from the coal miner, Brendan McPherson.
McPhersons, who owns the Rose Bay restaurant Regatta, bought the Ocean Street property in 2010 for $8 million from the late media executive Ian Law and his widow Roslyn.
They had interior designer Thomas Hamel undertake its refurbishment ahead of its August 2015 Vogue Living issue.
Champion and MacIvor own in Bellevue Hill where they bought in 2013 for $5.4 million.
They have a beachfront weekender in Palm Beach that cost $7 million two years ago.
Earlier this month Iclius was sold with its initial $13 million hopes being secured.
Champion was ranked 22nd on last year’s BRW Young Rich List, then aged 39, with a worth of $103 million given his Laser Clinics Australia.
Ben Collier, of The Agency, secured the sale.
