Woollahra mansion pips Paddington terrace for second behind Hen & Chicken Bay most expensive: RP Data
Woollahra pipped Paddington for the second most expensive sale for the week ending June 9.
It was a three-bedroom house in John Street that sold at auction on June 8 for $3.015 million with at least three bidding parties.
It had been listed with $2.8 million to $3 million hopes.
The John Street property is designed by interior architect David Swan and features double height ceilings, floor to ceiling glass and a sandstone terrace.
Located on 240 square metres, the property also includes a pool.
It last sold in March 1992 for $910,000.
The home was listed through John Anderson and Rohan Aalders of Di Jones Real Estate inconjunction with John Knott of Laing & Simmons Woollahra.
The most expensive sale was a four-bedroom riverfront home overlooking Hen and Chicken Bay that sold at auction for $4.155 million.
