A three level Williamstown trophy home has sold under the auctioneers gavel for $3,435,000.

The four bedroom, two bathroom house went to auction with a reserve price of $3.35 million

Nathan Smith and Rosemary Jamonts of Raine & Horne marketed the property.

Situated at 31 Electra Street, the listing describes it as "an extravagant masterpiece with every conceivable extra".

With floor space spanning 425 square metres, the home hold northward views through large skyward windows.

Last sold for $1.3 million in May 2014, according to CoreLogic a DA valued at $284,778 for a dwelling was filed in June and September 2014.

The home also features an in ground heated pool with an underwater window, a gymnasium and a home theatre.
