A Willemsen-designed Forrest house has been sold for $4.22 million making it Canberra’s most expensive weekend auction sale.

Located at 5 Moresby Street, the property was last sold in 2001 for $2.14 million.

A parterre-influnced front garden leads to a front porch.

A wine cellar and powder room leads towards the timber kitchen and casual dining room and includes a marble-topped island bench, breakfast bar and two-way cosy fireplace.

The guest bedroom has its own ensuite, built-ins and an aspect onto the garden.
