Widford Mews, the former stables and coach-house of the Hawthorn East property Widford, sold at auction last weekend for $2,156,000.

Widford Mews, at 1A Wiseman Street, had a reserve of $1.7 million with Danielle Waterton and Chloe Quinn of Jellis Craig initially quoting $1.5 million plus. It sold to a Sydney departee.

Widford Mews was built in 1883 as an outbuilding for the nearby property of Widford.

Now a two-storey, four-bedroom home, it features views of the city from a rooftop deck.

It snuck into the RP Data top 10 sales of the week.
