A four-bedroom Waverton house with extensive harbour views has been sold having been expected to sell for over $5.5 million.

The property at 9 Balls Head Road had no sale price disclosure, but Property Observer gleans more than $5.7 million was secured.

It features built-in wardrobes, an elevator, intercom, butler’s kitchen and home theatre.

It has views spanning from Berrys Bay to Walsh Bay and of the city skyline from the 750 square metre block.

The selling agent David Howe of McGrath Northbridge said that the family home had been renovated two years ago.

It attracted high interest from foreign buyers.

The property last sold in 2008 for $2.7 million.
