Tasmania's highest weekend sale came from Orford where a waterfront home sold for $730,000.

Overlooking the entrance to Spring Bay harbour, the four bedroom rendered brick home sits on a 4,000 sqm parcel within landscaped gardens.

It offers views across Mercury Passage to Maria Island from its sundeck which is accessed through large panoramic sliding glass doors.

The property was offered fully furnished by Knight Frank Tasmania agent Jim Playsted.

It last traded for $620,000 in 2014.
